I'm behind in updating my account here only because I like to upload my work in the order I complete them but I realize it's difficult to do that when I work with some publishers that request I not post my cover work until they are ready to announce when said books will be released. And I did a couple of illustrations back in Sept/Oct of 2014 for a publisher that I am still waiting for the announcement of that release. But too much time has passed so I'm just going to skip over those two and start posting all the work that has come after that project. Hopefully by the end of my summer I will be caught up.
In the meantime, my website and Facebook page have all the other recent work posted. Stop by and take a look. Thanks.

It's been almost a year since my last journal update. During the next week I hope to be caught up with uploading my latest work. CD covers, book and magazine covers, artwork for a steampunk/horror card game and the regular Lovecraft eZine illustrations. I updated a few of them about a week ago but I have at least 10 more to go.

Contact me thru my website, Facebook or here for cover work, posters, CD art or personal commissions etc.

Keep up with my latest projects on Facebook www.facebook.com/stevesantiago…

It's late Monday night and I see I now have 9,000 pageviews and my deviations have been viewed 46,000 times total. And what really blows me away is my Slender Man illustration hit 5,000 views today and 570 favorites in it's first 19 days! That makes me want to pursue the other 2 Slender Man ideas I had. :)

And thanks to the deviant community for all the support and inspiration over the past couple of years. Thanks for all the comments and all the favorites. Every single one is appreciated!

You can view it with the cover text treatment here: lovecraftzine.com/issues/issue…

I recently illustrated the cover to #253 of The Drabblecast. You can listen to the excellent episode here: www.drabblecast.org/2012/08/23…

I also created a personal piece (which I have yet to upload here as of this writing), which I am setting up to be available as a print offsite as well.

And I finally got around to setting up a facebook page a couple of months ago where you can see more of my art, sketches and some works in progress. www.facebook.com/stevesantiago…

Soon I plan on having my website up and running. It's just a thought right know. Still need to lay it out in my head first. As well as keeping busy with my monthly illustrations for the ever growing, Lovecraft eZine. lovecraftzine.com/

I have a couple of other projects I plan on being a part of but I will save that stuff for another time. I may update those through the comments here.

Thanks for stopping by!

I want to share an interview from December 2011 from the Unspeakable Gibberer that begs the question: Am I a genius or bored psycho with art supplies? unspeakablegibberer.com/2011/1…
I love that headline! Thanks Dave for all the support you have thrown my way. I greatly appreciate it. :)

And I want to mention my recent involvement with the H.P. Lovecraft eZine. As its founder/editor Mike Davis puts it: It is a monthly online magazine devoted to Lovecraftian horror.  In addition to the monthly magazine, Mike blogs about all things Lovecraftian several times a week.

I illustrated my first piece for the eZine for a story written by Adam Bolivar entitled "The Time Eater" that appears in the November 2011 issue. lovecraftzine.com/issues/the-t…

Then I designed a special tentacled holiday web banner for the site, followed with an illustration for the December 2011 issue. A story written by Kelda Crich entitled "Stone City, Old as Immeasurable Time". lovecraftzine.com/issues/stone…

I hope to contribute to the Lovecraft eZine as often as they will allow me to hang around. I have been a fan of Lovecraft's work since my early teenage years and I'm honored to have my art be a part of new Lovecraftian fiction.

It's fun stuff that keeps me busy late at night and I wouldn't have it any other way. :)
